Ethanol 23%

Herbal Actions:

• Antipyretic: Substance that reduces or prevents fever
• Adrenal tonic :Substance that improves the tone ,histology and function of the adrenals glands (especially the cortex)
• Antihemorrhagic : Substance that reduces or stops bleeding when taken internally
• Anti inflammatory : Substance that reduces inflammation

Indications :

Rheumatoid arthritis ,asthma ,urticaria

Chronic nephritis

Fevers ,hemorrhage ,skin rashes ,diabetes ,insomnia ,constipation

Beneficial in supporting adrenal function particularly  if hypertension  present.

Preventing the suppressive effects of corticosteriods drugs on endogenous levels of corticosteroids

TCM uses :

Febrile disease with reddened tongue and thirst

Hemorrhage

Spitting of blood skin eruptions

Diabetes caused by internal heat

Conditions caused by heart fire mouth sores ,insomnia ,low grade fevers ,constipation

Conditions of yin deficiency with internal heat

Regulate menstruation to promote blood production and tone the kidneys

Anemia ,dizziness ,weakness tinnitus

Amenorrhea , metrorrhagia
